Certification of construction material products includes conformity to Vietnamese Standards (TCVN) through voluntary standard certification and conformity to National Technical Regulations (QCVN) through mandatory conformity certification. In accordance with QCVN 16:2023/BXD, such certification is a compulsory requirement before construction materials can be placed on the Vietnamese market. Products such as paints, cement, aggregates, ceramic tiles, glass, and roofing materials must be assessed by competent third-party organizations (under Method 5 or Method 7) to ensure quality, safety, and market competitiveness.
